Comedian Delamere to bring 'Neil by Mouth' show to Athlone

Fresh from a recent appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, comedian Neil Delamere is bringing his show, 'Neil by Mouth', to Athlone this autumn.

The Offaly native will be taking to the stage in the Dean Crowe Theatre on Saturday, October 5, at 8pm.

And the night is expected to feature the hilarious tall tales, razor sharp observations and quick-witted improvisation with which Delamere has long been associated.

Renowned as one of the top acts working in the Irish comedy scene today, he is well known to audiences for his regular television appearances as well as his hilarious sell-out stand up tours.

Born in 1980, Delamere grew up in Edenderry. He has been performing at prestigious comedy festivals for the last twenty years, including Edinburgh, Melbourne and Montreal, and has frequently appeared on TV panel shows such as 'The Blame Game' on BBC.

He has also presented several television documentaries, including award-winning programmes on the Vikings and St Patrick.

Along with fellow comedian and broadcaster Dave Moore, Delamere co-hosts the podcast 'Why Would You Tell Me That?!'

He is currently touring 'Neil by Mouth' in the UK and Ireland, and the Athlone date is set to be one of the last performances of this show before he returns later in the year with a new show entitled 'Achilles Neil'
