Heritage Week night of music and song in Monksland

Monksland Town Team has organised what promises to be a wonderful night of music, stories, craic agus ceol in the Athlone Springs Hotel tomorrow night (Friday, August 23) to celebrate National Heritage Week.

Visitors to the free event, which takes place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm tomorrow, will be treated to tea, coffee and cake, and the bar will also be open during the evening.

The organisers are encouraging any musicians from the local area to come along and bring their musical instruments for a session afterwards.

There will also be storytelling and recitations, so for a unique night of the best in Irish entertainment, come along to the Athlone Springs Hotel tomorrow night to mark National Heritage Week in style.
