Local ladies football club receive €5k sponsorship from greyhound stadium

St. Josephs Ladies Football Club in Mullingar have received a €5,000 jersey sponsorship with Mullingar Greyhound Stadium as their new title sponsor.

The club received their new jerseys from CEO of Greyhound Racing Ireland, Tim Lucey in a presentation which took place in recognition of St. Joseph’s LGFA victory in the “Love Your Club” video competition.

The national competition, which encouraged clubs to showcase their passion and community spirit, saw St. Joseph’s emerge as one of the two deserving winners which consisted of a €5,000 jersey sponsorship prize.

The ladies of St. Josephs have also distinguished themselves on the field of play over the past two years, being promoted from Junior to Intermediate to Senior in that short space of time.

Tim Lucey expressed his delight in supporting local sports and congratulated St. Joseph’s on their outstanding accomplishment.

The club members look forward to wearing their new jerseys in upcoming matches.
