Independent People with Disabilities is focused on equality and empowerment for individuals with disabilities across Westmeath, Longford, and Roscommon.

"Since our inception in 2012, we have stood as the only democratic, grassroots initiative passionately advocating for the rights and entitlements of people with disabilities," it said.

"We envision a future where every voice, especially those often unheard, is amplified and respected.

"By uniting our efforts with like-minded organizations, we can forge a powerful alliance that has the potential to reshape the landscape of equality in Ireland".
