Voting opens for Nose of Tralee 2024
The Nose of Tralee pet competition has reached an exciting stage as final voting is now officially open from August 1.
The 32 finalists consist of 3 cats and 29 dogs, and have all submitted their photos proudly wearing their Nose of Tralee sashes. Each of these pets has a unique story and an amazing personality, making this year's competition particularly special.
Kate McQuillan, Owner of Pet Sitters Ireland, shared her excitement: “We are thrilled to see the final 32 pets, each with their unique charm and story, ready to win the hearts of the public. This stage of the competition is always full of energy and anticipation. We can't wait to see who will emerge as this year's winner.”
The finalists will now campaign for votes until August 19 at midnight.
The Westmeath Nose is Niko, an 11 month old rottweiler, who was gifted to owner Cassie while she was in recovery from surgery and chemotherapy.
The Roscommon Nose is the smartly-named Mr Rua Reynard Brogan, a four year old "radiant rescue mutt" with an impeccable sense of fashion.
The Offaly Nose is Pugba, "a loving caring playful little man who bring joy and comfort to all he meets".
