TUS Athlone to host Graphic Medicine Conference later this month

The Technological University of Shannon (TUS) Athlone is proud to host the 15th Graphic Medicine Conference, marking the first time this prestigious event is held in Ireland. It will be held from July 16 to July 18 in TUS' Faculty of Engineering & Informatics, attracting delegates from Australia, Japan, the US, and Canada.

The conference, kindly supported by Failte Ireland, will bring together hundreds of delegates from 25 countries around the world to explore how comics can simplify complex medical information and foster a deeper understanding of healthcare topics.

Delegates can choose to attend lectures, visit exhibitions, or participate in specific workshops, making this conference flexible and engaging for all attendees.

The event will feature two International Keynote Speakers, three exhibitions, three specialist pre-conference workshops, four discussion panels, six workshops and 30 oral presentations.
