Burst water main causing supply outage in area of Athlone

Uisce Éireann has said that an area of Athlone is likely to face water supply disruption until 5pm today (Tuesday) due to a bust water main.

The issue is affecting Creggan and surrounding areas of Athlone.

In an online update, Uisce Éireann said the repairs were expected to continue until 5pm, and that people were being asked to "allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time" for their supply to fully return.
