GAA issues ticketing and safety message ahead of Roscommon's quarter final clash

As the countdown continues to Roscommon's meeting with Armagh on Saturday, which will be the first of four All Ireland football quarter finals being played at Croke Park this weekend, the GAA has issued ticketing and safety messages for those planning to attend.

The public are being reminded that, with electronic tickets, screenshots of your ticket will not get you into the stadium.

People are being encouraged to download e-tickets in advance of their arrival at Croke Park, and to add them to their wallet. Tickets can be transferred to others using the Ticketmaster transfer function.

Roscommon-Armagh is part of a double-header on Saturday with Dublin-Galway, while the meetings of Donegal and Louth, and Kerry and Derry, will be held on Sunday.

The GAA is notifying people attending the games that all flares and smoke cannisters are strictly prohibited in the stadium.

"Additional search and security measures will be in place this weekend and there will be strict enforcement by An Garda Síochána," the GAA added, in a statement issued this afternoon.

Tickets for the quarter finals went on sale online here on Monday, and tickets are also available from selected Centra or Super Valu stores.
