One change in Westmeath team for crunch Derry clash

Westmeath have made one change in their named starting fifteen for the crunch game against Derry tomorrow.

Luke Loughlin comes into the full forward line in the named team instead of Moate's Robbie Forde, who drops to the bench.

Otherwise, the team is identical in personnel to that which lined out against Galway two weeks ago in TEG Cusack Park.

Stephen Smith who came on as a sub against Galway is not included in the official 26-player squad for the game. His place is taken by Jack Smith. Listed among the subs are Shane Allen, Robbie Forde, Eoin Mulvhill, Matthew Whittaker, Lorcan Dolan and Kieran Martin.

Despite two group defeats to Armagh and Galway, a draw against Derry would be sufficient to secure a preliminary All-Ireland quarter final spot for Dessie Dolan's outfit.

The team and subs is:

Jason Daly; Jamie Gonoud, Charlie Drumm, Kevin Maguire; James Dolan, Ronan Wallace, David Lynch; Ray Connellan, Andy McCormack; Jonathan Lynam, Ronan O'Toole, Sam McCartan; Luke Loughlin, John Heslin, Senan Baker

Subs: Jack Connaughton, Shane Allen, Conor Dillon, Danny McCartan, Robbie Forde, Eoin Mulvihill, Matthew Whittaker, Daniel Scahill, Lorcan Dolan, Jack Smith, Kieran Martin.

Throw in at Esker Park, Newry, is 7pm and the game is being shown on GAAGO
