Finance Minister to attend Athlone business breakfast
Athlone Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with sponsors, RBK Chartered Accountants, DPD Ireland and TUS Athlone, is delighted to announce the upcoming "Pre-Budget Business Breakfast," a high-profile event featuring a panel of experts including Minister for Finance Michael McGrath. The breakfast will take place on Wednesday, June 12, in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel at 7.30am and will provide an opportunity for attendees to gain valuable insights into the Government's plans for Budget 2025.
Other panelists include Regina Bushell, President of Athlone Chamber of Commerce, moderator Lorcan Allen, Business Editor, Business Post, Alison Sheridan, Head of Department of Business and Management, Colin Kennedy, CIO, DPD and Mike Scanlan, Senior Tax Manager, RBK. The panel's expertise will provide attendees with comprehensive insights into various aspects of the business environment, allowing for a well-rounded discussion on the challenges and opportunities faced by local enterprises. The format of the event will comprise a panel discussion ahead of the publication of the Summer Economic Statement.

The Pre-Budget Business Breakfast will be open to both in-person and online attendees.
