Status yellow warning for thunderstorms in Midlands

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow thunderstorm warning for 18 counties this afternoon and evening, including Westmeath, Roscommon and Offaly.

The weather warning is in effect from 3pm to 8pm today (Thursday.)

Potential impacts from the thunderstorm are spot flooding, hazardous travelling conditions and poor visibility.
