By the Government’s own estimates, physical inactivity costs the state €1.5 billion per year, 35% of which is a direct healthcare cost.

Professor Niall Moyna has stated that: “If we could package the wonders of physical activity into a pill, it would be the most subscribed super pill on the planet.”

We are not looking to stop aging, but we are trying to ensure that we get to enjoy as much time as active and healthy a way as possible.

We are trying to support people to avoid getting sick or some serious preventable diseases, we know that nothing slows ageing more than muscle mass and cardiovascular fitness.

We can take absolute beginners of all ages to advanced athletes in all sports and help them increase muscle size and strength. As we age, we lose muscle. This is a fact. Another fact is that we need muscle to complete all our daily tasks, from the time we get out of bed, standing up from a chair, walking, sitting down, all requires muscle strength.

We also know that most breaks and fractures come from simple falls and trips. One of the things we learn in strength training is how to “apply the brakes” to support ourselves. Don’t forget, the heart is also a muscle, and needs regular exercise to keep it doing its job as efficiently as possible for us.

Muscle mass isn’t a pursuit of vanity, its our bodies best defence against the effects of time. Looking good is a happy side-effect. Living with freedom & confidence is the real reward.

50s & 60s are the new 20s & 30s, if you want to live a full life, daily movement is the game-changer.
