A prominent commerical premises in Athlone is up for sale with two tenants in-situ.

10 Castlemaine Street, home of Midland Sound Equipment and Athlone School of Music, is on the market with an asking price of €350,000.

Neither tenant will be affected by the sale with leases in the place for the two well known businesses.

The selling agents SherryFitzGerald O'Meara describe the business as a substantial three-storey commercial property, along a street with strong footfall close to the town centre.

“The property which presents in very good condition comprises of a retail/office development currently fully rented,” according to the marketing documents.

There is a retail unit on the ground floor and a store to the rear leading to a large garden. In addition, there is a separate street entrance leading to six offices on the first and second floors, all of which are laid out for business use and in “very good condition”.
