Second dinner dance fundraiser for Infinity Friends
March 9 next sees the second annual dinner dance fundraiser for Infinity Friends take place in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone
Infinity Friends is a club which started just over a year ago, to bring autistic children and youth together along with their families to provide support and activities in a safe and empowering environment.
The committee is delighted that this year’s dinner dance fundraiser will again be attended by Adam Harris, CEO ASIAM, Ireland’s National autism charity and by Micheál Carrigy, Senator and lead of the Joint Commitee on Autism, both of whom have been a huge support to Infinity Friends in their endeavour to bring and sustain an inclusive group to Athlone.
Infinity friends has nearly 60 members and have enjoyed many activities this last year including bowling, go karting, art and crafts, baking, balloon making, horse-riding, meditation, trips to Dun Na Sí, eating out, cinema and its very first summer camp, which was a huge success.
The group is thrilled to announce that the Midlands 103 presenter, Lorraine Mc Cormack, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the upcoming Infinity Friends Dinner Dance.
Infinity Friends is honoured to have her as part of this special occasion, and they are certain that her involvement will contribute to an unforgettable evening for all.
