New monthly market announced for Athlone

A new monthly market is set to kick off in Athlone this weekend.

Rob's Ranch House in Irishtown announced the move on social media last night, with the market due to take place on the last Saturday of the month.

The first market takes place on January 27 from 12.30pm to 5pm.

Crafts, local art, food and other produce will be for sale on the day.
