'Large amount of lost property' being held in Athlone Garda Station

Gardai in Westmeath have said there's a large amount of lost property, from both the Athlone and Mullingar districts, currently awaiting collection in Athlone Garda Station.

The items being held include things like a mobile phone, purse or wallet, and even some keys.

Members of the public who lost any such items recently are being advised to contact the property office in Athlone Garda Station on 09064 21710.
