Shannonbridge GAA has created a video of some of its longstanding members sharing memories from the first 50 years of the club.

A 50-year anniversary celebration for the club took place on Sunday night in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel in Athlone.

As part of that event, a video was shown looking back at its history since its foundation in 1973.

The club has grown and developed its facilities over the years, and recently installed a state-of the-art floodlighting system.

Shannonbridge GAA shared the first part of the video look-back on social media yesterday (Monday) evening. The clip, which is almost 20 minutes in duration, can be viewed here:
