Resurgence of popular country song as it reenters charts

A popular song by singers Simon Casey from Ballycumber and Moate's Ray Lynam recently reentered the country music charts, reaching Number One.

The single, 'As She's Walking Away' was released in 2017 and has remained a fan favourite. Simon said that it was “great” to see the song reach number one. “(It's) truly a record that I cherish with the one and only Ray Lynam.”

The Offaly man had recently shared the song on his Facebook page saying that it was still one of his “favourite records” with the “legendary” Ray Lynam.

Simon released a new single, 'Kiss The Girl' last August. The new single is from Simon’s forthcoming album which will be released in November and is produced by Joe Egan in the NutShed studio Clara. The song originally appeared in the Disney movie ‘The Little Mermaid’ and this romantic calypso love song is already being well received everywhere.
