Former Argos outlet available to rent
The former Argos outlet in Golden Island Shopping Centre is now available to rent for €320,000 a year.
Dublin-based JLL is handling the letting of the prominent unit, which closed during the summer.
Argos shut all stores and operations in the Republic of Ireland back in June following a thorough review of its business and operations in the country.
The UK retailer was based in Athlone's Golden Island Shopping Centre since the centre opened in 1997.
The retail unit B2, which is available immediately, extends to 11,926 square feet with potential for subdivision, according to the letting notice. Golden Island Shopping Centre boasts a footfall in region of 65,000 per week, it adds.
