RTÉ presenter announced as host for upcoming Athlone Business Awards
RTÉ sports presenter Eamon Horan has been named as the Master of Ceremonies for the upcoming Athlone Business Awards Night.
Athlone Chamber of Commerce announced this week that Horan, a midlands native, will anchor the event being held in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on November 4.
Eamon has worked in media since 1992, beginning his career with Midlands 103. He is no stranger to working at major events having reported from World Championships and the Olympics.
“We are absolutely delighted to announce Eamon as the MC for our Awards night. He will bring a unique perspective and dynamic to the awards and having spoken with him, I know he is as excited as we are,” said Athlone Chamber of Commerce CEO, Tommy Hogan.
The announcement of MC comes after a successful launch of the awards night in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on September 1.
Nominations for all 15 categories was opened and will remain open until September 29.

The Athlone Business Awards Night, is scheduled for November 4, in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel.
