New attractions for upcoming 'Púca Spooka' Halloween event in Tullamore

Billed as "Ireland's biggest Halloween event", PÚCA Spooka will return to Lloyd Town Park, Tullamore, on October 28 and 29.

"We are thrilled with the previous success of this event. It was met with great feedback from both exhibitors and visitors alike and we look forward to a thrilling return this year with new experiences that we are very excited about," said Aidan Shortall, of Up Close and Personal Promotions, which is producing the event in conjunction with Tullamore Municipal District.

People are being invited to dig out their costumes, dust off their capes, and polish the broomsticks, as PÚCA Spooka 2023 is set to feature a host of "spooktacular new attractions and activities," as well as art installations, a high-flying adrenaline stunt bike show, a funfair, food trails and entertainment.

It will also boast a pop-up 'Monster Market' with a collection of work from makers of all kinds.

The Cathaoirleach of Tullamore Municipal District, Cllr Declan Harvey, said, "PÚCA Spooka is a great family friendly event, suitable for all ages. This year's festival will be a family fun day out that promises to be something extraordinary.

"We are delighted to see this event growing in popularity and scale on an annual basis. Visitors can be assured of a spooky but warm welcome when they visit Tullamore this Halloween."

The council said tickets for the event are "competitively priced for an event of this scale," and they will be made available online through Eventbrite, with further updates provided on the PÚCA Spooka Facebook page.
