Temporary one-way system on Athlone street takes effect
A temporary one-way traffic system which came into effect at Pump Lane in the centre of Athlone today (Monday) is due to remain in place until early October.
One of the lanes of traffic at Pump Lane is due to remain closed until Friday, October 6, to facilitate streetscape enhancement works in the area.
Diversions are currently in place.
Nearby Mardyke Street has been fully closed to traffic since March of this year, and is due to remain closed until late August.
