Just two days left for player to claim €40,000 Lotto prize

The National Lottery are again urging players in Westmeath to check their Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 tickets from the Saturday April 1 draw, as a €40,000 prize remains unclaimed.

The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw (April 1) at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar.

The player correctly matched five out of the seven winning numbers in the Lotto Plus 1 draw that evening to scoop the €40,000 prize.

The winning numbers of the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday April 1 were: 11, 24, 27, 34, 42, 44 and the bonus was 15

Ticket-holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, which means that the Westmeath winner has just two days left to claim their prize.

The claim deadline for this prize is close of business on Friday, June 30.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We are eager to hear from the Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 player who won €40,000 in the April 1 draw. There is a winner out there who may get a surprise to see that their ticket is actually worth €40,000.

“If you are the winner, you should sign the back of your ticket and contact our prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for you to claim your prize.”
