Veronica wins first best dressed title in Athlone Agri Show

Athlone Agri Show introduced a range of new features and attractions this year, and one of those was the Best Dressed Lady competition, sponsored by Wineport Lodge in Glasson.

Veronica Walsh, Navan in Co Meath was selected by the judges as the very first winner at the show on June 18 last.

The show, which attracted huge crowds this year on a fine, sunny day, took place on Michael O'Donohoe's farm at Garnafailagh, just outside the town.
