Time running out for Westmeath player to claim lotto win

A player from Westmeath has just seven days left to claim a Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 top prize worth €40,000.

The National Lottery is today continuing its appeal to any Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 players in the Mullingar area to check their tickets at the as a top prize worth €40,000 from the draw on Saturday, April 1, remains unclaimed.

The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw (1st April) at Top Oil Service Station, Longford Road, Mullingar. The player correctly matched five out of the seven winning numbers in the Lotto Plus 1 draw that evening to scoop the €40,000 prize.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize which means that the Westmeath winner has just ONE week left to claim their prize. The claim deadline for this prize is close of business on Friday 30th of June.

The winning numbers of the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday, April 1 were: 11, 24, 27, 34, 42, 44 and the bonus was 15

A National Lottery spokesperson has called on all Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 players in Westmeath to carefully check their old tickets to ensure that they do not miss out on this outstanding prize: “ If you are the winner, please be sure to sign the back of the ticket and immediately contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”
