Roscommon GAA looking for new manager of senior hurling team

Roscommon GAA has invited applications for the role of manager of its senior hurling team, after the departure of the previous management set-up comprised of Seamus Qualter, Daithí Hand, Peter Galvin and Francis Doolan.

In a statement today (Tuesday), the county board said its hurling committee last night had expressed their appreciation to the previous management whose term in charge had come to an end.

Seamus Qualter and his management team took charge in February, and since then Roscommon won promotion to Allianz League Division 2B and retained their status in the Nicky Rackard Cup for 2024.

The county board said that applications were now open for the position of Roscommon senior hurling manager, and applications are invited by email to: secretary.hurling.roscommon@gaa.ie

The closing date for applications is Thursday, July 20.
