Kilbeggan's Jim Langan continues to make strides

Kilbeggan man Jim Langan, who is now a member of Tullamore Harriers, was successful in the 1,500 metres over 80s event, at the Leinster Master Track and Field Outdoor Championships, which were held in TUS College Grounds Carlow on Saturday, May 27.

It continues a busy period for the very active Kilbeggan runner, who was winner of two gold medals in the Ireland master track and field indoor championships (8,800 metres and 1,500 metres), held in Athlone in February. He also finished second in the All-Ireland cross country 4k event.
