Ardnagrath NS are FAI Primary School 5s national runners-up

Pupils from Ardnagrath NS competed in the FAI Primary School 5s national finals in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Wednesday, May 31.

The team was competing in the 'A' Girls Cup, where they finished a fantastic second overall, having qualified for the finals as Leinster champions.

The results from the Girls 'A' Cup were as follows:

Winner: Castleblakeney NS, Galway.

Runners-up: Ardnagrath NS, Athlone.

Third: Scoil Cholmcille Kerrykeel, Donegal.

Fourth: Kilbehenny NS, Limerick.

The Ardnagrath squad that travelled to Dublin comprised of Emily Sullivan, Mollie Quinn, Lily Rattray, Erin Rattray, Erin McHugh, Aoife McHugh, Sorcha Aspell, and Ava Lynam.

They were coached by teachers John Keane and Justin Couglan.
