Athlone woman Rose Reid is set to appear on the nation's TV screens on Friday afternoon (January 13).

The popular Cornamagh resident is due to be making an appearance on the Today show on RTE One, hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane.

A mother of 12, Rose is known for her fitness and active lifestyle, and the Athlone Regional Sports Centre was among those wishing her the best on the television show.

"Our regular early morning gym goer, Rose Reid, will be on air getting a full makeover. Best of luck," read a social media post from the sports centre.

The Today show will be broadcast from 3.30pm to 5.40pm on Friday.
