Mount Temple Drama Group reflect on successful return

And that’s a wrap! Mount Temple Drama Group recently returned to the stage after a lengthy three-year absence due to Covid-19, and they did not disappoint with their fantastic performance of 'Sharon's Grave' by John B Keane.

With three sell out nights and an opening night close to capacity, the cast delivered some incredibly memorable performances, and had audiences crying from tears of laughter and sadness throughout.

The drama group would like to thank everyone who came and viewed the production, and to everyone who supported the production in any way. Without our supporters and sponsors none of this would have been possible.

This production would also not have been possible without the hard working men and women who dedicated so much time and energy over the past three months to ensure a successful and seamless drama. Therefore, thank you sincerely to our brilliant cast and crew, and to our first time director Ritchie Higgins, who helped guide the production to its inevitably excellent end.

Thanks also to the fabulous staff of Tuar Ard for their help with the production, we are so lucky to have such fantastic facilities at our doorstep.

Finally, we are always open to new members, so if you would like to get involved in any way, please drop us a message on our Facebook page, Mount Temple Drama Group. With that, we will take the next few weeks off, but make no mistake about it: Mount Temple Drama Group is officially back and better then ever!!
