Plaque to be unveiled in memory of William Reynolds

Drumraney Heritage Society in association with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and the Reynolds family is inviting members of the public to the unveiling of a plaque in commemoration of William Reynolds, All-Ireland uilleann piper, and one of the founder members of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

This ceremony is at noon on Monday August 1 at the birthplace of William Reynolds in Walderstown, Athlone.

The ceremony will include the re-launch of William Reynolds’ book ‘Memories of a Music Maker’, previously published by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, by Labhrás Ó Murchú, Ardstiúrthóir, agus Éamonn Ó hArgáin. Uachtarán, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

Drumraney Heritage Society wishes to thank William Reynolds’ son John, who built the plaque, and look forward to welcoming all to the event.
