Westmeath minors take on Meath in Cusack Park tonight

Westmeath's minor footballers take on Meath in the semi-final of the Seamus Heaney Cup in Cusack Park tonight, throw in 7pm.

After bowing out of the Leinster Championship, Vinny Cox's men got their Heaney Cup campaign off to a flying start when they defeated Longford in Pearse Park last Wednesday on a scoreline of 4-13 to 2-14.

If they progress tonight, they will face the winner of Laois and Wexford in the final of the second tier competition.
