Mario Rosenstock to perform sold out show in Athlone this weekend

Popular comedian and satirist, Mario Rosenstock will take to the stage as a host of famous Irish figures in the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday.

'Gift Grub Live' will see Mario bring some of his favourites alter egos to life in his most interactive show ever.

The show will feature his comedic impersonations as Miriam O'Callaghan, Roy Keane, Leo Varadkar, Paschal Donohue, Bertie Ahern, Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, Michael Flatley, Joe Duffy, Davy Fitz, Marty Morrissey, and President Michael D Higgins.

Over 200,000 people have seen Mario perform his legendary one-man shows in venues across Ireland.

Mario said, “This is the big one. This is going to be everything I do wrapped into one huge night. I can’t wait and I think people are going to love it.”

Gift Grub first aired on May 3, 1999 on Today FM’s Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show. It is now the longest-running breakfast show in Irish radio history and has become the benchmark for topical and wittily surreal comedy satire. It's success has led to thirteen best-selling albums, half-a-million record sales and three hit TV series

Over the last 20 years Mario has performed 6000 sketches as hundreds of characters.
