Westmeath's National Football League game is off

Westmeath's local derby against Longford in Division 3 of the Allianz National Football League has been called off.

In a message on social media, Westmeath GAA said the game has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

It's a blow for Jack Cooney's men who had rattled off two successive victories in their opening league fixtures.

Westmeath and Longford are due to meet in Cusack Park in the Leinster SFC quarter-final in some ten weeks time.
