Council bids farewell to Pat

An official of Westmeath County Council who has retired after almost 30 years of service was wished “a happy and healthy retirement” at the January meeting of Athlone Moate Municipal District,

The good wishes of the council were extended to Pat Keating, who served as Municipal District Manager in Athlone for over four years, and members agreed to send a letter to the departing official to thank him for his years of service.
