Roscommon name seven debutants for Sligo game

The Roscommon team to play Sligo in the FBD cup semi final this evening (Saturday) has been named.

Throw-in is at 6pm in the NUIG Connacht Air Dome. Due to restrictions, there are no general tickets on sale.

The team is:

Richard Hughes (Roscommon Gaels)

Eoin McCormack (St. Dominics)

Eddie Nolan (St. Brigids)

Shane Cunnane (St. Brigids)

Cathal Heneghan (Michael Glaveys)

Andrew Glennon (Michael Glaveys)

Diarmuid McGann (Strokestown)

Ciaran Sugrue (St. Brigids)

Donie Smith (Boyle)

Conor Cox (Éire Óg)

The team includes seven players making their debuts for Roscommon.

Conor Carroll, Colin Walsh, Niall Higgins, Eoin McCormack, Shane Cunnane, Diarmuid McGann and Ciaran Sugrue will all make their senior debut.

There will be no tickets on general sale for this match.
