Athlone family to compete for €5,000 prize on TV quiz show

The Plunkett family from Athlone is to make an appearance on an upcoming episode of a Saturday-night TV quiz show.

Mike, Mary, Aimee and Keela Plunkett will be appearing on the Home Advantage show on RTÉ One on Saturday week, October 2.

Home Advantage is a general knowledge quiz, hosted by Jennifer Zamparelli, in which three Irish families compete to win €5,000.

One member of the family goes to the studio to play, while the rest of the family lends support from home.

After three brain-teasing rounds, only one team will go on to the final round and a shot at the €5,000 jackpot.
