Walk-in Covid testing to resume in Athlone this week

Walk-in testing for Covid-19 will resume in Athlone on two days this week.

A HSE spokesperson said testing would recommence at the former St Aloysius College, on Deerpark Road, tomorrow (Tuesday) and this Friday.

The testing will be carried out between the hours of 10am and 4pm on each of the two days.

No testing for the virus was carried out in Athlone last week, with the pop-up testing clinic last in operation on Friday, August 13.
