Westmeath man's stunning image goes viral
Fresh from being crowned press photographer of the year last weekend at the Press Photographers Association of Ireland awards, Westmeath native James Crombie has been back in the news with a sensational shot of a murmuration of starlings on Lough Ennell.
The photo, which depicts the starlings in the shape of a bird, was used on the front page of The Irish Times, prompting James to express his happiness at capturing the unique image.
Separately, RTE News have published a video of the moment James and his colleague Colin Hogg captured the unique formation of birds.
