Spooktacular Hallowe'en haunted forest run

Back by popular demand, Athlone Running Club (AIT AC) are hosting their second spooktacular haunted forest walk/jog/run event this evening, Friday October 25.

A scary fun run, it promises to be an authentic Hallowe'en experience suitable for the whole family. Full of zombies and witches, it will prove to be an enjoyable if somewhat nerve-jangling experience.

The haunted forest has a graveyard and is for the bravest souls who dare walk on the hallowed ground. Your walk might turn into a run as you negotiate a path through zombie land. At least as you emerge there will be a friendly witch handing you goodies to calm your nerves. There will be some screams but mainly laughter!

Afterwards the group will retire to the college for refreshments and swap stories about near-death experiences. Come along to the AIT running track, if you dare, this evening at 6.30pm, and experience the night (fright) of your life! Adults €10, kids €3.
