Over €2k of Herbalife products stolen in Athlone burglary

Gardai in Athlone are investigating a burglary in which over €2,000 worth of Herbalife products was stolen during the early hours of this morning (Friday).

The incident happened in a unit at Blyry Industrial Estate.

Raiders forced entry through a rear door of the premises and made off with the Herbalife products and a small quantity of cash. 

Herbalife produces a range of nutritional supplements which are marketed towards sportspeople and those seeking to lose weight. 

Sergeant Andrew Haran of Athlone Garda Station asked anyone who is offered the Herbalife products for purchase from an unauthorised source to make contact with the Gardai. 

He also appealed for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Blyry area overnight to get in touch. Athlone Garda Station can be contacted on: 090 64 98550.
