Custom Cuts scoop Michelin star of hairdressing!

The Good Salon Guide, the only independent guide to quality standards in hairdressing and beauty, is delighted to announce that it has awarded the Colour Expert and Hair Extension artist accolades to Custom Cuts.

Padraig Claffey and Kevin Robbins are delighted to have achieved this Michelin Star equivalent recognition in hairdressing with their team at Custom Cuts.

Good Salon Guide has been rating hair and beauty salons since 1993 and now extends the available ratings to cover those salons that specialise in colour and hair extensions.

Colour services and hair extensions account for a huge percentage of salon earnings, and with leading trends focusing on new techniques such as ombre, balayage and temporary pastel shades, the hair colour market and hair extension market is not slowing down anytime soon.  These skills and techniques must be perfected, which is why Good Salon Guide will be recognising Colour Expert salons and Hair Extension salons.

Each Colour Expert salon and Hair Extensions Expert salon will be inspected to a set of strict criteria, including the requirement for a member of the team to have a Master Colour Expert level qualification, and hair extension qualification paperwork, so the consumer knows they are visiting a quality salon with staff that have the highest level of colour training.

With the new ‘Colour Expert’ and 'Hair Extension' rating, Good Salon Guide aims to help the consumer find a hairdresser they love and trust and to help the salon fill empty columns and boost business.
