Tickets to go on sale for All-Ireland Drama Festival
The 2017 RTE All Ireland Drama Festival takes place in the Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone from Thursday, May 4, to Friday, May 12, and is one of the most eagerly-awaited theatrical events in the country.
The Box Office for the festival opens tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 10am and there is expected to be a huge demand for tickets.
The nine-day festival, which is held under the auspices of the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland, attracts hundreds of visitors to the Midlands every year.
Plays being performed at this year's event include, 'Philadelphia, Here I Come'; 'The Cripple of Inishmann'; 'The God of Carnage' and 'The Seafarer'.
The performances will commence each night at 8pm.
