Three Garda bikes in road accident
Three Garda motorbikes were involved in a road accident on Tuesday afternoon near Cornafulla on the old Ballinasloe Road outside Athlone.
The three Garda motorcyclists were on a training course when the accident occurred near a left-hand bend at around 2.50pm
It's believed that there was oil on the road at the location in question.
One of the riders was brought to hospital with minor injuries.
