A €50k scratch card win in Ballinasloe store

One lucky person is €50,000 better off today after purchasing an All Cash Platinum scratch card in Ballinasloe!

The young man, who wishes for his win to remain private,bought the card in Corrib Oil on Tuesday.

He plans to use the money as a deposit for a house according to a spokesperson for the National Lottery.

'He will also spend some of the money on small treats for his parents and family,' the spokesperson told the Westmeath Independent.

Meanwhile, a lucky family syndicate from Galway have scooped a whopping €186,974 after they matched 5 numbers and 1 lucky star in last Friday’s (08 July) EuroMillions draw.
