People’s Debate comes to Westmeath
The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne is now scheduled to visit the Longford Westmeath Constituency tonight.
The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne had been planned on a number of occasions in the constituency, before being cancelled, most recently on Monday, January 18 last.
The constituents of Longford Westmeath are invited to The Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar to take part in a debate with local TDs and candidates for the general election.
The debate starts at 7pm on Monday and will be recorded for broadcasting on Wednesday, February 3, at 10pm.
There is no charge to attend the debate and all are welcome.
Those interested in taking part in the debate are advised to arrive at the Greville Arms Hotel by 7pm.
To date, according to TV3, only Robert Troy, of the four sitting TDs, by Monday evening last, had confirmed their intention to attend.
Recently, many Government TDs have not taken part in the travelling debates.
