Henshaw's return delayed after injury scan
Robbie Henshaw started 2016 on the injury list at Connacht and an update which was issued yesterday (Tuesday) revealed that the Athlone man is expected to be out of action for up to another another fortnight.
The Connacht medical team said Henshaw underwent a CT scan last week which found that his hand fracture was 'not fully healed'.
'The surgeon has advised another 1-2 weeks before the Ireland international returns to match action,' said the statement from Connacht.
The setback comes less than a month before Ireland get this year's Six Nations campaign underway.
The reigning Six Nations champions will take on Wales at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on February 7.
