Ask the artist this saturday at luan gallery

The Luan Gallery will host episode four of its ‘Ask the Artist’ series this Saturday, June 13, from 2pm to 3pm.
No booking is required, but places are limited. To generate interest in this discussion Luan Gallery invites the public to send questions for the artists prior to the talk through twitter @AthloneAT.
Artist Gary Robinson said: “As an artist, I like to transfer images or materials from one place to another. This can be the content of a painting or an installation. When it comes to painting, it’s the physicality of moving paint around that interests me, and the results that arise from surrendering oneself to the work, losing any notion of ego. The installation work enables the viewer to become part of the piece, and it’s this collaboration that allows the work to begin.”
