Twelve local properties set for allsop auctions
Twelve local properties are set to go under the hammer at two separate Allsop Space auctions in Dublin this week, with the first auction taking place today (Tuesday).
The first auction is a commercial auction and sees two Athlone properties listed, while nine local properties are listed for auction at the second one, which is a residential auction and will be held on December 11.
Going under the hammer today are three retail investment units, over ground floor only, sold as one lot, which are located in the Gateway park in Monksland. They measure 2,834 sq. ft in total and are subject to two tenancies - Barber Bob’s and Athlone Credit Union’s Monksland branch. The property has a reserve range of €110,000 to €130,000.
The second commercial property is located at 12 Church Street, Athlone, and is a mid-terrace mixed use building, comprising retail and office accommodation. It has a reserve price range of €260,000 to €280,000.
On December 11, three separate houses at The Orchard are set to go under the hammer. The first - 97 The Orchard - is a mid-terrace three-bedroom house and is subject to a tenancy. It has a reserve of €70,000.
The second house - 98 The Orchard - has the same reserve, is also a three-bedroom, mid-terrace house.
110 The Orchard is a semi-detached three-bedroom home and has a reserve price of €95,000.
Also up for auction on the day is 17 St Ruth’s Park, which has a reserve of €25,000. The semi-detached three-bedroom house measures 861 sq. ft, is a two storey property and has gardens to the front and rear.
A detached six-bedroom house in Kiltoom will also go under the hammer. Measuring 2,401 sq. ft, it has a reserve of €160,000, has a garden to the rear and off-street parking to the front.
Also in Kiltoom, Hodson Bay Stores goes under the hammer, with a reserve of €40,000. Measuring 1,350 sq. ft, the property is arranged over ground floor only to provide a retail unit. Internally the property comprises shop front and storage area to the rear.
In Monksland a parcel of land measuring three acres has a reserve of €45,000. The land is triangular in shape and has planning permission for five light industrial units, measuring 48,975 sq. ft in total. The planning permission has been extended until January 2016.
Two properties at Wellmount Student Village will also go under the hammer, both of which have a reserve of €40,000. Both are first floor four-bedroom apartments and each has an annual rent of €5,000.
In Moate, 81 Sliabh Rua is listed for auction on December 11, with a reserve of €70,000. Measuring 1,033 sq. ft, the three-bed, semi-detached house has off street car parking and gardens to the front and rear.
