Frost and fog expected as colder spell continues
The recent dip in temperatures looks set to continue during the early part of this week, with some frost and fog expected in the Midlands.
Met Eireann has said weather today (Monday) will be relatively dry, with temperatures in the region of 7 to 11 degrees celsius.
Tonight it be mostly cloudy and misty, with some fog patches. It will be a calm night, with a risk of frost in some areas of north Leinster.
It will remain mainly dry on Tuesday, with some fog during the evening and night.
Met Eireann said there will also be a risk of frost tomorrow night 'where breaks in cloud occur, especially in the Midlands and East.'
